SUNBURY commuters face delays with the Bendigo train line closed from July 27 to August 5 for electrification works.
Public Transport Victoria's network operations director, Norman Gray, expects the closure to be the last major disruption to the Sunbury line as works gather pace.
Buses will replace V/Line trains between Bendigo and Melbourne from 10pm, July 27, to the last train on August 5.
Metro trains on the Sydenham line will be affected on weekends during this period.
