RIDDELL completed a season double against Romsey with an emphatic 54-point win at a soggy Riddell Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
The Bombers have returned to the Riddell District Football League minor premiership mix in the past fortnight and sounded a warning with the 12.12 (84) to 3.12 (30) win.
Diggers Rest claimed outright ladder leadership with the Romsey slip-up, the Burras' 11-1 record a game ahead of Sunbury Kangaroos (10-3), Romsey (10-2) and Riddell (10-3).

Romsey was never in the hunt on Saturday, held to a solitary point in the first quarter and down 7.9 to four points at half-time.
Jarrod Silvester was the Bombers' leading forward with three goals, while Brian Ruffell and Troy Scoble booted two each.
Nathan Blair kicked two of Romsey's three goals for the afternoon, while Mitch Farmer was the Redbacks' best in the heavy defeat.
The Redbacks' only two losses this season have been to the Bombers.
At Diggers Rest, visiting Macedon pushed the home team but ultimately fell to an 11-point loss.
The 11.7 (73) to 9.8 (62) defeat leaves Macedon ahead of Melton Central in the race for sixth spot on percentage only.
At the foot of the table, Woodend Hesket took a big step away from the wooden spoon battle with a 20-point win against Rockbank.
James Hepburn booted five goals as the Hawks won 10.10 (70) to Rockbank 7.8 (50) and join the Rams and Lancefield on three wins, one game ahead of bottom pair Kilmore and Broadford (both 2-10).
The Bombers and Roos will sit out this weekend, having played their round 13 match already on July 8.
