MACEDON tightened its grip on a top-two spot after a hard-fought win against Romsey in the Riddell District Netball League.
Going into the match both teams had lost only one match, but it was Macedon which was too strong, winning 50-41.
The win leaves Macedon even on points with Melton Centrals, with Romsey a game back in third place. Rebecca Colwell was the star for the Cats, scoring 38 goals and being named among the best.
For Romsey, Hope Hamilton scored 30 goals.
