Cane toad menace in Mount Gambier
18 May 12 | ONE of Australia's worst animal pests, the cane toad, has been found on the building site of the Woolworths shopping complex on Penola Road.
Unbeaten sides meet
18 May 12 | In a top of the table clash South Augusta and Solomon-town will meet this Sunday in Port Augusta to determine who will sit alone in first place. Both sides have recruited well for season 2012 and on paper they appear to be evenly matched well balanced teams with plenty of flexibility.

Down every street appeal
18 May 12 | Volunteers for Novita are knocking on doors in Port Augusta asking for donations for the Down Every Street Appeal. The donations go towards providing equipment for children with a disability in Port Augusta and surrounding towns. Local optometrist Mitch Hancock, of Gulf & Ranges Optometrists kick started the campaign with a $1000 donation to Novita.
