11 May, 2010 09:15 AM
GISBORNE'S advance up the Bendigo Football Netball League A-grade ladder hit a snag at the weekend as it lost to Strathfieldsaye by 17 goals.

Strathfieldsaye got the jump on Gisborne and never gave up the lead on its way to the 41-24 victory.

The defeat drops Gisborne to three wins and two losses, leaving it fifth on the ladder.

Gisborne's A-reserve drew 31-31, B-grade lost 24-50, and 17-and-under lost 39-46.
