Finals aspirant Romsey found the going tough against the quality of Kilmore, going down by 37 points.
Despite a tight opening, Kilmore added 8.9 to 3.7 in the second half to run away with a comfortable win.
Forward Aaron James was a standout for Kilmore, booting nine goals to help his side over the line.

Wallan ensured that finals are still well and truly on the agenda, leading from siren to siren to notch up an impressive 39-point victory at McPherson Park Oval. Brad Regan booted four goals for the winners in an impressive display. Brian Wheelahan was named best for Melton Centrals with three goals.

A three-goal-to-nil final term saw league leader Riddell shake a committed Woodend-Hesket line-up. Only two points separated the sides going into the final quarter, when Riddell vice-captain Nicholas Ash and onballer Haydn Ross lifted to ensure victory. Joel Goodyear tried hard all afternoon for Woodend-Hesket.
Macedon 9.12 (66) d Sunbury 5.6(36)
A five-goal-to-two second half ensured victory for Macedon in what was effectively an eight-point game in this mid-table clash. Jae Wilton and James Wright were outstanding in the victory with their attack on the football. Matt Leonard played a great game for the Roos in defeat.
