THE Sunbury Jets are the undisputed champions of Big V basketball's division 1 men's competition.

Premiership celebrations are raging after Mark Rizza scored 31 points in a starring role as the Jets beat the Bulleen Boomers 91-73 at the Veneto Club on Saturday night in game two of the grand final series.

Ryan Barnes chimed in with 21 points.

The Jets made their move in the second quarter, piling on 26 points to 13 after scores were locked at 21 apiece at the first change.

Rizza had scored 26 points in the side's 88-83 win at Boardman Stadium in game one the previous Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Sunbury's women's side has been outplayed by the Werribee She-Devils in the division 1 grand final series.

The Jets went down 76-66 at the Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre on Saturday night in game two.

They'd lost 58-44 in game one at Boardman Stadium the previous Saturday night.
