The Woodend Toy Library is looking for new members who will get the opportunity to borrow from its
300-strong collection.
Established after the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983, the toy library moved into its new home, now known as the Toy Shed, last December.
The volunteer-run group is based at the purpose-built shed, which has its own entrance to the Woodend
Sustainability Garden.
To give parents and children the chance to meet other members over a chat and a cuppa, the toy library committee held a tea party last week.
Fynn, 15 months, of Woodend (pictured), was among those who enjoyed checking the toys and tea on offer.
Membership is $35 a year.
The Woodend Toy Library, in Forrest Street, is open 10-11am on Thursdays and Saturdays.
