See the light

THE Light the Night event on September 15 aims to raise awareness and funds for the Leukaemia Foundation's work with leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma patients.

The event is an opportunity to remember, celebrate and give hope to patients and families affected by blood cancers.

People are being invited to gather at a twilight ceremony in the Treasury Gardens in Melbourne and carry illuminated balloons. People walking in memory of someone they've lost will carry gold balloons, while blue balloons will be for people who may have known somebody with one of the diseases or anyone who wants to show support. White balloons will be held by survivors.
