School's plan suffers blow

09 Mar, 2010 11:03 AM
WHEN performing arts co-ordinator Jenni Coombs came to Bacchus Marsh Grammar in 2003 she arrived with a vision.

Ms Coombs had been involved with Wakakirri productions at both Manorvale and Werribee primary schools in the past and was specifically employed by the high school to drive its Rock Eisteddfod challenge.

The school's first production was Cluedo, based on the board game. Ms Coombs said it was sad to hear the event was ending, though

it was planning to skip the show this year in favour of a musical production of Grease.

"It's disappointing, more so for the kids, they were the ones saying 'What's happened? What's happened? Is it going to be on again next year?"
