DIGGERS Rest Bulla Village Cricket Club players are turning pink in support of a breast cancer fundraiser.
Joining cricket clubs across the country on Pink Stumps Day on February 18, players will wear pink hats and pads in their match against Woodend.
East Sunbury and Bacchus Marsh cricket clubs will also play on the day, with all proceeds from their matches going to the fundraiser.
Pink Stumps Day raises money for the McGrath Foundation to help it place nurses across the country.
The inaugural Pink Stumps Day last year raised $550,000 nationally.
This is the first year the Diggers Rest Bulla Village Cricket Club is taking part.
Club president Peter Dowsett will lose his beard if he reaches his $200 reserve.
Players Matthew Osborne, Darren MacRae and Blake Robinson will dye their hair or moustache if their reserve, also $200 each, is reached.
There will be face painting, entertainment, barbecue, raffles and an auction.
The cricket matches at Diggers Rest Reserve start at 1pm.
