Professional storyteller Narelle Stone put on a fun-filled performance as part of school holiday activities at the Gisborne library last week. Laruara, 7, from Gisborne, was among those who saw the award-winning stories Sunday Chutney and Special Kev come to life through a series of colourful costumes and entertaining theatrics. The book theatre performance was part of the school holiday program, aimed at five to 15-year-olds, at Gisborne, Kyneton and Woodend libraries. This week's activities include: Japanese Tales: the art of origami and kite-making, at 1pm at Kyneton library and 3pm at Gisborne library tomorrow; Manga Art Workshop: learn to draw manga faces, at 10am at Woodend library on Friday. Bookings are essential. Details: 54283962. Picture: Matthew Furneaux
