BEING healthy and happy will be one of the key messages when 9: The Expo hits Kyneton this weekend
The business and lifestyle exhibition has been created specifically for the Macedon Ranges.
Presented by Macedon Ranges Council in conjunction with the Kyneton business community, it will be held at Sacred Heart College on Saturday and Sunday.
The Macedon Ranges Healthy Living and Longevity Group will this year hold a health and well-being program aimed at all ages.
The group will present lectures, demonstrations and workshops on health, well-being and spirituality with free classes including tai chi and yoga.
The name '9: The Expo' was chosen to represent the major towns and villages - Gisborne, Kyneton, Lancefield, Macedon, Malmsbury, Mount Macedon, Riddells Creek, Romsey and Woodend. The free event aims to connect residents with local businesses with a Buy Local message.
Last year, the exhibition held in Gisborne generated $350,000 in business and sales for the town.
The council will offer a free Park and Ride free shuttle bus service through the retail and tourism offerings of the town.
9: The Expo runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Details: 54219617.
