Crews given a hand with fire gear

29 Sep, 2009 04:00 AM
THE Gisborne Freemasons Lodge and the Board of Benevolence of the Grand Lodge of Victoria has given three Macedon Ranges emergency services organisations $1000 donations.

The Bullengarook CFA will use the money to buy an improved truck mounted pump, the Gisborne CFA will be able to buy 20 new protective weatherproof jackets and the Gisborne SES will use its donation for a global positioning system.

Freemasons senior warden Ken Dashwood said last week the Gisborne Lodge was proud to be able to assist the groups.

The Gisborne Freemasons Lodge is holding an open night for men interested in the ideals of Freemasonry from 7.15pm at the Gisborne Lodge, Aitken Street, on October 16.

Details: 54282522.
