STUDENTS have been offered counselling after a body was discovered at Sunbury Downs College last Monday.
Staff called emergency services after the early morning incident.
Assistant principal Mary Power said: "There was an unfortunate incident in which the body of man was found on the school oval. Police and emergency services attended and the area was cordoned off to students. "Counselling services and support is being offered to anyone who was distressed about the incident."
The man is believed to have been visiting family from the Northern Territory. Senior Constable Angela Mitchell said there were no suspicious circumstances.
